The same applies to online vehicle registration or the replacement of documents. Interestingly, making online doctor appointments would be the most popular with Poles-48.8% would use such an opportunity. According to the Digital Signature Act as amended on 21 July 2006, which regulates the submission of electronic applications, Poles can send documents with secure digital signatures as of 2008. Some public administration agencies prepared in advance for the introduction of local, free digital signatures. By the end of 2007, an estimated 300 agencies all across Poland were prepared to receive documents and applications with a digital signature, and their number is growing steadily.
